Sand Sculptures 6th October 2014
A number of the members and volunteers visited Weston-super-Mare Sand Sculpture on Monday 6th October 2014.
We were invited to visit on this particular day as it was the last day of this amazing annual event and enabled us to touch and climb onto the sculptures. Unfortunately, I have not been able to name many of the sculptures as I was unable to find the appropriate information. If anyone does know could they email me please aileen@energeyesvips.co.uk
This year’s theme was “Once Upon A Time”. Gulliver’s Travels was one of the largest sculptures and is carved by Radovan Zivny from the Czech Republic. Some of the other sculptures are Hunger Games, The Hobbit, Aesop’s Fable – The Lion & Mouse, Paddington Bear and Beatrix Potter.
